Hate Late Fees? Watch out!

According to SmartMoney, Citigroup and American Express have launched new credit cards specifically for people who don't like paying late fees.

One card waives the late fee charge as long as the card holder makes at least one purchase during each billing period. The has no late fees, and they have a nice rewards program.

However, there's a catch. Late payments can cause your interest rate to skyrocket - possibly up to 30%. In addition, chronic late-payers still get reported to the credit bureaus, so watch out.
